Briers Basketball is excited to unveil its upcoming Youth Skills Competition—an event designed to showcase the shooting talents of young athletes.
With a focus on fostering skill development and celebrating precision shooting, this competition promises an exciting showcase of talent and determination.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Grades 7-8 (Free Throw Shooting Challenge):

The Briers Basketball Skills Competition extends an invitation to all youth in Grades 7 & 8 who possess a passion for basketball.
This segment of the event centers around the free throw shooting contest, putting participants' accuracy and focus to the test. With every shot from the charity stripe, competitors have the chance to demonstrate their adeptness at this fundamental aspect of the game.

Grades 9-10 & Grades 11-12 (Free Throw and/or 3-Point Shooting Challenge):
​
Catering to participants in Grades 9 through 12, this competition expands to include both free throw and 3-point shooting challenges. Participants may register for each event separately. Age groupings will be Grades 9-10 and Grades 11-12.
Participants will not only showcase their free throw precision but also embrace the excitement of long-range shots from beyond the arc. The 3-point shooting contest promises a gripping showdown, as contenders vie for the title of the event's most skilled shooter.
